Idun
Idun is a female aesir and goddess of fertility. She is married to Bragi, the god of poetry. There is not much to say about her, except the fact that she owns a chest of unique and highly sought after apples. These fruits have the power to rejuvenate anyone who bites into one of them. Due to this, Idun serves these apples to the gods in carefully-rationed portions to keep them young and allow them endless lives. Freyja honours Idun with the most visits for she is the goddess of love and sexuality, therefore endless youth is her most important asset. There is also a story about Idun’s capture by the giant Thjazi. Probably, it’s needless to say that this disaster was Loki’s work.
